I liked how the author built the story up by explaining the Collective and what Cressenda's parents thought of their situation as Outliers, and how they taught their daughter to survive alone. he's a sympathizer with those who live outside of the Collective's rules.Cressenda and Beckett are both intriguing characters. ![]() Beckett is the one guard that Cressenda never expected.
